Primary 6 were delighted to accept the kind invitation to visit Lely Farm on the Aughentaine Road as part of Engineering Week. The children were really impressed with the technology used in modern dairy farming and topped the day off with some delicious ice cream!

P6 pictured with Alasdair McFarland ( Scripture Union N. Ireland) at the completion of the Fist Pump Five programme which is aimed at improving childen's mental health. The children thoroughly the fun and interactive activities associated with this wonderful programme.
Primary 6 are thinking about the start of the Spring season with their interpretation of snowdrops in their art.
Primary 6 enjoyed a practical activity where they had to estimate the weight of a range of objects, choose the most appropriate weighing instrument and then calculate the actual weight. There were some very good estimates!
Primary 6 enjoyed making stockings for Christmas. They cut out the felt panels, sewed them together using a blanket stitch and then decorated them.
