Fivemiletown Primary and St Mary's Primary completed their successful year of shared education with a Celebration Day event held at Fivemiletown Primary school on 9th May 2025. A large audience enjoyed each of the classes reporting back on the fun learning experiences they shared. Primary 1, Primary 4 and Primary 6 classes were involved in the planned programmes this year. In addition every other class was involved in a link up session with their St Mary's counterparts e.g. P2 went to Scott's bakery, P3 are going to the Play park, P5 went swimming at Fivemiletown Youth Annexe while P7 visited the Methodist church and St Mary's chapel. These link up sessions were suggested by the Joint School Council comprising children from both schools.
Planning is well underway for next year's activities.
